    haha its pressure treated!! and the ruff cut does not matter as much if you use lags. you could use mdf and then that way if they are stuck to long for that to work the board brakes down into a traction powder like kitty litter!

    MDF is a solid choice. Has both a slip side and a traction side. I can get the SCX10 damn near vertical on it.

    I wouldn't use $300 max tracks... I'd buy some cheap ones from Amazon, or like a few have suggested, just make some. Bolts through a 2x4...

    id be more then willing to help install them wit you after hours if you can help me with this. i have set up bearings made for the carrier bearings and the rest should be close. i just know that with you it would go a lot faster

    Yes, I ran it 2 years ago with a double cab long bed in the group. In fact, he made less turns than I did on the switchbacks. Those switchbacks are effin scary in a manual truck!
