Any electricians that can help me out?

In my crawlspace I have a switch that controls a light fixture (single incandescent bulb). I want to either turn that fixture into a switched outlet, that I can plug several runs of LEDs strips into, or somehow directly wire up LED lighting/fixtures to the wiring that runs to the fixture.

    What I'm trying to accomplish:

Right now that single incandescent bulb is right above my furnace, which is convenient, but 7/8ths of the crawlspace remains in the dark or shadows. Now that my crawlspace is completely finished, I am using it for storage. I want to run more lighting, preferably LED strips, throughout the crawlspace so I can light the whole thing up.

Ideally I'd love to flip the switch and have the entire crawlspace lit up.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you remember if the broken part of the Maxtrax was the uphill or downhill side?

Only time I ever ran it was in my full size Bronco with a 4" suspension lift and 33" tires.

    Several pucker/decimal point moments.

Yeah...although it was a fun trail with great scenery, I'd have to seriously think about it before running it again.

It's really that bad?! I've been wanting to run Black Bear for a while now and check out Telluride.

The trail wasn't really all that bad, the only intimidating parts were the switchbacks on the descent down into Telluride. It's no problem in an auto tranny, but in a manual with a clutch to worry about and very loose rock for me it was very effin scary! I was making 4, 5, and 6 point turns on some of the switchbacks.

It's not that bad. Just some of the switchbacks are tight and have a big drop on some of the turns.

I also ran it in 1996 and I think they've improved it since.

Yeah, when we were down there two years ago, I had my XJ with 240k on it, auto with no e-brake and regular brakes that I discovered couldn't hold the truck weight while stopped on steep grades... I was not really thrilled about doing it if we did. We didnt end up doing it, and it happened to be the same day that guy with the wrangler rolled a time or two.

Bad is relative. If exposure doesn't bother you, it's less of an issue. There are three 'spots' (note I've never actually run it). There's an off camber section right at the top of the final decent that's kind of rough, then there's an extremely tight switchback, and then another that's pretty tight but not as bad as the first. Check for recent youtube videos. Accidents seem to happen on a yearly basis. I know there were at least two rollovers last year, one of which was fatal.

Edit: wow, I didn't know there was video from that. Thanks @aero3685 And now that I see what the driver saw... I guess mistakes seem so obvious in hindsight... I can't believe he stayed on the throttle. Though if I recall the story there was something supposedly mitigating about it.

Also, that's not any of the three spots I was talking about. That's after the first off-camber drop, before the worst switchback, and the lesser switch is after that. However that section right there has had some bad erosion the past couple years. Last year I think it was there's some video of a group going through where something had fallen out and cut a V into the outside edge, and they put up a T-post to mark it. Shows a few not terribly large vehicles barely being able to fit by. I think they fixed that though.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
I did black bear last year and I did not find any of it difficult. I won't lie the switch backs were a little sketchy but other then that it wast bad. Radical hill is skinner then black bear.

That was literally my next question (comparison between Radical Hill). Thank you!
