The trip was in January, but these things take a long time to edit if you aren't doing it full time. Following up on Day 1 posted a month or so ago, here's Day 2 of my Death Valley trip with my son.

I didn't know there was a trail there, I go shooting out there every so often. Is the trail 2wd friendly?

Yes. I assume you go to Burrow? Just keep going straight into the dirt when you get to Burrow and either go straight or turn right in ghe wash at the gate. I hear that the Baldy gate is closed if you go straight but it's all open to the right

Back out to the white water park today. Still learning about offroading techniques and eager to do some more adventurous stuff. The sand was pretty well packed from recent rains and I was in 4 hi the entire time. Left the tires at 37 psi. No backup so I did not push the limits.

Right on. At least you use it like a truck! I'm waiting for someone to say "I would never do that with my new truck!"

Haha, thanks man. Only had to use the locker once the whole weekend. I'm very impressed with this truck, especially with the stock tires.

The Limited works just fine off road. The Michelin's obviously are set up for a smooth ride on pavement and off road capability would improve greatly with the proper tires. Also, no crawl control like the TRDOR. But I knew this when I ordered it. I'm a 90% pavement guy and wanted the ability to go where a two wheel drive vehicle might not be appropriate.

I also have the limited. I'm like you 90% on pavement but at times will go off road. I will eventually get more aggressive tires.
