Yes, but when you compare the two, having an extra stud RB, or QB, instead of an extra kicker....I would think is an obvious benefit.

I just don't see how wrapping up a scholarship on a player that sits on the bench 99% of the game, is even close in comparison to a second RB or even a back up QB.

Wouldn't matter, he's from GA and from the sounds of it he and his family like UGA and the big crowd plus the excitement of the new era influenced him to stay home. At least that's the way I read into it.

For what it's worth the crowd was much more than 93k as its been said anyway.

I wonder if Henry will give the Heisman to it's rightful owner now.

Tampa Bay traded up in the draft last night to get our former kicker.

Having a great kicker never hurts.

You need a good kicker now days with the PAT and the new rules.

BUT....trading UP to draft a kicker in the SECOND ROUND? Still doesn't make sense.

Yeah point more was were not just getting any ole kicker, we're giving scholarships to the best.

You probably don't follow Jameis now but he's showing what he's truly about. Done stuff for the community and recently was baptized with his girlfriend.

I've clearly voiced my opinion on those incidents in here multiple times and I'm not saying that his actions now prove he's innocent, but those athletes that are reckless tend to stay that way or get worse when lots of money get involved (Manziel, Aaron Hernandez).

Aguayo was definitely one of the best kickers of all time...I still just don't see trading up to draft a kicker in the top 60 picks.

They lost something like 4 games last year because of field goals. Having a great kicker could make a huge difference. The bigger question mark about the Bucs draft for me is drafting another short DB (Hargreaves) when they play Julio Jones and Kelvin Benjamin twice every year.

    Those are funny..

Also, 2nd draft in a row where small, private school Samford University here in Birmingham had an NFL player drafted before auburn.

Hargreaves plays big. I thought he had a pretty big hype machine working for him, until I really, really watched him play. He has a big chip on his shoulder. I think he will do well.

Good. Not only does Alabama beat the competition, but they dash the hopes of all other fan bases as well. Now that's efficient, effective and down right audacious. Crushing the will of the fan base takes a special kind of program.
