Noted. Heights don't get to me, but that headcut coming down Radical Hill had me white knuckle on the steering wheel...

Define installed. I'd be happy to help, but it's a bit of a drive and while mine is 'installed' it isn't permanently mounted. Also, you've got a 16 so I'm not sure if it has the same holes to run wires through and such. It's really not hard. Right gauge wire direct to battery and ground, make sure antenna mount is grounded, tune antenna. Boom, done.

If you've been down it, you know what to expect. I've seen pictures/heard tales of full size suburbans going down it. Driver skill and umpteen point turns...

@aero3685 I'm sure, but not being directly involved, knowing anybody, or having all the details fresh in my mind or in front of me, I didn't want to armchair it too hard. :D

Black Bear is done annually with Suburbans, they're just much slower on the switchbacks and the ledges.

Blackbear isn't that bad. Like everybody said, it's the switchbacks during the descent.
Ran it in a 64 Scout 800 with pump-up drum brakes and a coughing carb. I lived.

Google "black bear pass switchbacks". The picture that comes up the most in the results is the worst switchback. High in the results is also a youtube video from 2011 that shows the off camber part starting at the 6 minute mark, going through the section where that rollover above was, and stopping where people back up for the switchback. Part 2 then shows that switchback.

Decided to go topless for the first time since December 2012. I build a hoist in the garage that will lift the topper off with the push of a button.IMG_4182_78956b000f2cc90ac06d749e7b384733cac3fa8d.jpg IMG_4181_24525d52c72806448fb061b2afb5c380c1d21e0f.jpg

Anyone know of a gun shop (preferably in the south metro area) that will do a private party transfer? I've talked to a couple local shops near to me and have come up blank.

There's a good chance I'll be leaving Colorado the end of this year or start of Next, so I probably won't get another chance this good to do it.

Get rid of the light socket and wire it into this https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...-mean-well-led-power-supply--lpv-series/1172/
Then the output will run quite a few led strips, and those will be easy to wire since its 12volt
