Bahaha. I did the same as you. White. But I bought cheap LEDs and they're not as bright anymore. So lesson learned

Yeah, go Amazon. I'll have to buy those from Chris when I go to replace them.

It's worth spending the extra buck on LED bulbs when you have to pull half of your dash apart or take your HVAC area apart just to have a bulb burn out cause you went cheap! I've never had a problem and bought all my LED bulbs from...
I agree. It's worth spending money on LED bulbs that are of quality not quantity unless you like tearing apart your dash and HVAC area numerous times because of a cheap burnt out bulb. I got all my LED bulbs from...

Takes like 5mins to pull dash and you can Change all but one without removing it. Spent maybe $2 on a pack if 10 thats been in almost a year now. I keep them dimmed cause their too bright most of time.

What do you mean by this? Changing bulbs without removing the cluster?

Sorry still don't know what your talking about. To replace my bulbs I had to remove the radio bezel, steering colum cover, plastic cover under the steering wheel, and unscrew the cluster from the dash.

Remove radio bezel/trim/cupholers. Behind radio theres the ducting that goes to vents above radio, remove it. You can then reach your arm in and access most of the dash.

Edit: this how youd reconnect the speedo in older models with a cable aswell cause they give you absolutely no slack.

Your truck is a 96 mines an 02. Its completely different when it comes to dash layout and all. You can't change any without taking everything but the top of the dash off

BTW I priced out the LEDs on superbright before buying these. Add in shipping, then having to wait for em. I just went ahead and spent an extra $10-$15 bucks and got the "super bright" ones from the parts house.

One of my superbrights in the HVAC cluster has been starting to go off for periods of time. I have a couple options since I did order a 2002 4Runner HVAC for the plate, and it has green bulbs. I may just swap it out.

I feel like it might just be loose, I seem to have the same issue but haven't fixed it yet.

Probably, its had a habit of going on/off after a bump.
