Haha! Yeah, some guys here are so into their Tacomas they'll just attack and harass you if you say anything bad about them. And if you have any issues with your truck, even if they are real, major issues they'll somehow say it's your fault or call you a whiner. Have no idea what's up with members like that. Guess Toyota gave out some sort of special Kool-Aid at some point, and most of these guys drank it!

I'm on the fence too about trading my 2016 Tacoma (5,400 miles)I traded my 2014 for the 2016 Tacoma which I kind of regret now. The buzzy engine is driving me crazy too. Just damn "sad" Toyota buries it head in the sand concerning the 2016 issues. I fell hook line and sinker for all there marketing info. Quiet engine( not so), smooth ride( so-so), vibration free driveline( bull butter!), lots of power(yes at 5000rpm), state of the art 6 speed transmission( dog!), etc. Damn I feel cheated! Hope they wake up and hear us!!!!!!!!!! Sharp looking truck u have there..... my neighbor says..... that owns a new Colorado Z71. Hang in there 2016 Tacoma owners!

Another spot on comment and critique of the new Tacoma(atleast the Tacoma I had). I had some comments like 'the issues you mentioned are all things you should have noticed on the test drive'. Uhm...NO, that is not the case when you are in a very controlled environment and most of the time have a salesman riding with you. It's only when you get in real world situations that you start to notice the shortcomings.

Yea thats a bogus criticism. When you test drive a vehicle you are enamored with all of the other stuff in the truck--sound system, gauges, pitch/roll indicators. Even if you felt anything you might just assume it was the road---because why would it feel like a rumble strip when braking otherwise?

    Mine doesn't buzz.

You mention how they hold their resale value. Ford gave you 5050 in rebates. That's why the Ford doesn't hold anything near MSRP after you drive off the lot

Because people complain A LOT on here. Great information on this site from some really intelligent people, but a lot of people who have nothing better to do than complain about a decision that is not Tacoma-oriented.......like this guy should just sit with a purchase he was not happy about. Glad the OP is happy with his choice and now there is a 3rd Gen available for someone at a discount.

Whenever I see someone complain about the Tacomas interior size AFTER buying the vehicle, all their credibility goes out the window.

Honestly I couldn't care less what you have in your garage. You seem to be the one that doesn't know what he wants. I am very happy with my choice flaws and all.

Again, why are you still here?

That statement says it all. 250lbs would not fit in a lot of vehicles.

What the fuck is your damage ?? You've been whining like a little girl because this gentleman's experience with a Tacoma didn't fit him, & he wasn't being a dick about it , just stated reasonable reasons for getting rid of it, don't worry, quick, run out to your driveway & look.... see truck still there !! Fucking relax...

Not like a 'yota but Toyota could take one out of Ford's playbook in a couple areas...
