I don't know of anyone with a reg cab. Check out the deals section of the forum for a product called RAAMmat and Ensolite. Everyone who uses it, loves it. Much cheaper than the alternatives too.

I thought about it one time, but per the FSM, just about every other trim panel has to be removed before it will drop down, and the seats have to come out (no biggie) if you wish to remove if from the cab completely to get it out of your way. There are usually work arounds, and someone may have figured a way to do it easier, as for the FSM, removal would be to get it out of the way to access something else, or to completely remove it because it is damaged.

Not sure what the FSM, can you tell me? Also, thanks for the info about raammatt and ensolite. I have already got a box of a roll and a half of raammatt and 3 yards of ensolite with two cans of adhesive.

Keep us updated on how it goes! I have long been contemplating doing this to my regular cab.

FSM: acronym for Factory Service Manual. Sometimes looking through the FSM just makes it seem more difficult than it actually is, but it is good for showing hidden fasteners.

You would have to buy one from Toyota.

well if anyone wants to remove the anything in the reg cab let me know I have it completely stripped out I can give instruction and have pics. I will say that there are some parts on the ceiling that have to be replaced you have to break them and get new ones.
