Okay Im tired of searching and have come to either Icon or All-Pro shocks... I want to keep my 2000 Prerunner X-cab, V-6 non 4x4 or TRD near stock height... The factory stuff has 126k miles on them and look pretty wore out.. The truck actually sits level now with all stock suspension.. Or would just replacing with Bilstein shocks with my springs be as nice as the above shocks?? To save money.. Just want a firmer (non squishy) ride and body roll better...

I went withe the bilsteins 5100 they are adjustable height, for me that was what I needed. But even with the shock all the way up it lifted the front about 1.25" inches and made it a lot stiffer I've put about 15,000-20,000 since and they still ride nice

If all you're looking to do is replace your old worn out suspension, then there's no need to drop the coin on the expensive stuff. Pick up some new Bilstein 5100s, some OME 880s and a new leaf pack. Bam. Talk to Marie at Headstrong off road and she'll really work with you to get you exactly what you need.

Just curious, why do some retailers say the bilstein rear 5100 will not work at "0" assuming that is stock height? And others don't mention it?

That doesn't make any sense because the rear 5100 isn't adjustable. Only the front is.

I thought the same thing but Toytec claims they wont work with no lift according to their description.. Wheelers does not mention this in their description.. Just wondering, does not make sence to me either..

I believe that to be incorrect. I think I said it earlier, but give marie a call at @HeadStrong Off-Road and she'll be able to answer any questions and help you put together exactly what you need.
