A little directional challenge, but we were back on track in less than 5 min.

All of us got around the rock the first trip through, and then on the return Alex and I made it through afterwards we just decided to yank that puppy out there. More of machismo thing than a "need to" thing.

That was a awsome trip! Thanks again Taylor for setting the whole thing up. We need to sart doing this more often. Oh yha and the misses took awsome pics!

 

i love dry mountain trails and rocky roads.. nothing hardcore but fun ... like that i wish we had a place near Houston like that .... awsome pictures ...

 

so why did you move the rock?

 

It wasn't as easy as it looks, pictures don't do the trail justice. It was rocky as hell and that last hill we had to turn around at...that thing was steep and really ruff. I wish we could have make it all the way to the end, next time I think we will try and find that road that makes the loop.

Oliver I think you did the loop didn't you? Oh and thanks again for being the hero of the hour, we couldn't have gotten in there if you didn't call me back

Kacey's truck didn't have a locker and wasn't 4x4 so going down was easy, but getting back out he couldn't keep the momentum going around the rock because it was in the middle of the trail. I didn't want him to wreck anything so I said F it lets just move the thing. We did and he drove right up the trail, and didn't have another problem the entire way back. Alex made it out of there because of his locker, but he took a nasty hop onto the rock with his back tire. Luckily there was nothing damaged other than a little missing tread

I have to say I am very impressed by his skill and everyone else's, I'd go wheeling anytime with you guys

 

This was a Great Trip. Everyone it was great meeting you all. This group was a great group of guys and I'd wheel with ya'll any day. Kacey Your truck does damn good even without the locker. Taylor it was nice having lunch with you and the misses and then driving up to Tortilla Flats.
