Woo babies! My brother just had his second kid a few days ago! Their first is a handful... No concept of danger, or pain. He just started walking too, and figured out how to climb. Apparently he just took a 5' swan dive off a book shelf onto their hardwood floor... After crying it out he tried to do it again!

    Congratulations Zach! And good luck.

What would you like to know? Make sure it has the LS6, and a 6spd tranny. And then get the skip shift eliminator.

I want the targa, which kills the Z06, but I wouldn't buy any car w/o a MT. The skip shift is maddening (friend has a CTS-V). I've never driven a Vette, but I'm interested about what the seating position is like. I drove a friend's 94 Trans Am and felt like I was piloting a boat with a 28' nose. Does the C5 give that feeling or is it more like a regular car?

I'm looking at other vehicles for the time being in case my Z plan falls flat.

I suppose the seating position in similar to the Trans Am. Having driven both a 00' WS6 and an 03 Vette, I thought they were comfortable to drive. Both felt like they had less of a nose than the 3rd gen f-bodys. I hate driving cars that feel like they have no nose at all.

And yeah the skip shift eliminator was the first mod I had to do.

Hmm, I think I'll have to drive one to figure it out. That's one of the things that I like so much about the Z from the photos/videos I've seen, it has that standard 90's Japanese interior that I'm so familiar/comfortable with.

My WS6 had a bigger hood than the Vette, so maybe a Vette would feel more normal :notsure:. You do sit really low in the seat though. I haven't driven a Z (300ZX? / 350Z?) so I can't comment on that. Last Jap car I drove was a late model civic, feels like it has a mile long dash, and no hood at all. If you're talking about a Nissan Z, the interior feels cramped compared to the Vette, but I'm also 6'5".

I'm definitely not 6-5, fortunately or unfortunately (I was supposed to be a solid 4" taller than I am). I'm talking 300ZX. My first car was a 1990 Accord which I absolutely loved the interior of and really miss. I had swapped in a set of Recaros out of a Prelude so it was pretty sporty feeling at the end. The STI felt like a cheaper version of my 90 Accord inside, but it was "just right" feeling to me. I did find the 350/370Z to be cramped inside.
