Love the shell. Where did you get it? I am looking for one in Inferno. Also was it easy to remove the dam and what was your reason to do that? Thanks

it's like 8-10 small screws along the top of the air damn, super ez,
    off in like 10 min.

not sure of his reason but it looks much better without it.

Thanks. The shell is an ARE cx seri s that the dealership procured from a shop local to them. Anytime you get a new shell they are painted to whatever color you want at no extra charge.

I removed the dam mostly because I need to run a front plate in .CA, but will be moving out of state in a year hopefully. So when I saw someone else mount the plate there, I knew it was the route I wanted to go to avoid drilling into the bumper. Aside from that and looks, the other reason people take them off is to improve approach angle when off roading.

I have only thrown it up in the driveway, but it seems to fit really well. It seems to be well worth the price. I got it for just under $150.

Yes, exactly the same lift height. You can do the install with the prop rod in place, then after you click in the first lift, you can disengage the prop.

6.1 is for a dry engine, the way I understood it is that some oil remains in the engine, that's why 5.5 quarts brings it right up to the
line on the dip stick. At least that's the theory I'm going with...

Have you seen Air80 tint? Hard to even tell it's there. It's for heat and UV rejection and is mostly clear.

Was getting my hood replaced until they realized the brand new hood had the same issue with the epoxy as my old one.

How did you get them to replace it? They re-glued mine and it looks like shit.

Yeah I went with 3M Crystalline 70% on my windshield and it makes a big difference with heat rejection. You can't tell it's there either but since the windshield is the largest window on the vehicle it makes sense to do it.

Ya I can still see a little flutter at 60mph+, and it may just be me but I see a warp/wave in the hood from all the extra glue. Have any of the sport hoods done this?

I just brought it to their attention and they decided to send it through warranty. They got the new hood, had it painted and when they went to install it realized some of the epoxy on the new hood had already come loose. They are filing a report with Toyota corporate

Well its not necessarily warped, but where it had come loose the really caked the glue in there causing it to be a little more raised up when you compare it to the rest of the hood. If I take it back in again, I am going to pay the difference in cash and get a sport hood if Toyota can get them yet. I don't want to have to worry about it.
