Can anyone tell me if the hardware that comes with a CVT Mt. Shasta will work to mount to prinsu cross members?

If not can someone direct me to hardware that will work.

    Thanks in advance!

@zscott, Have you ever fitted your 80 series rack to a 70 series? This new addition to my garage is the reason I ask.

I am having a problem with the 6 ft bed top rack installation. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It seems the bolts that hold the feet onto the camper shell track are too long and interfere with the bottom of the track and cannot be tightened down all the way. I have followed the installation instructions at the prinsu website and noticed the feet in the instructions are different and may be thicker. Has anyone else run into this issue?

See pic below: gap below screw head due to bottoming out in the yakima track

I sent you an email on this too but the tracks you have are shorter than any I have ever seen. I am guessing they were a limited run or the dealer swapped them in place of the standard yakima/thule ones. They will work fine I will just have to get you a shorter bolt so it doesn't bottom out.

What cap do you have? Usually they are within 1/4" of each other?

Any specific measurements and pictures that you'd like to get the ball rolling?

So I installed my cabrac last night and with difficulty I got all the bolts to line up in the holes except for one. The hole in the cab has a piece of metal that looks like it was shifted over underneath the shell which is partially blocking the threads. Anyone else have this issue? uploadfromtaptalk1462278998486.jpg

is this the tab that is rectangular in shape just under the weatherstripping/over the screw hole? if it is, that is the very thick/sturdy piece of 3m tape (yes it's strong like thick plastic). You can either punch it out a bit to match up with the threads or remove it altogether. Removing it altogether is a bit of a task as the tab itself is pretty much painted over from the factory.
If this isn't the issue lmk and i'll remove this reply as not to confuse anyone.

Any idea what I can use to clean these white spots off the wind deflector and the sides? Not sure if its mag chloride or what. I've tried all purpose cleaner and a white scrub pad and brush and it didn't help too much.B0A64485-5339-4EDE-A8CC-4DE7CD39A159_0960d0e139a1b605feb7a24159fc57e57d20bca2.jpg

No it's actually below the tape and below the outer painted metal sheet. Since the gutter is where they seam the body of the truck together, they have to punch that hole through the top panel and the side panel that are overlapping. Then beneath both of those panels is the frame which has the threads in it. The hole in the side panel that is beneath the top panel seems to be misaligned. I'll take a pic today if I can.
