Where did you find that height of bed bar from All-Pro? I've been all over their site trying to find bars like that, and the only ones I can find are 4" rise, where those look more like 8"?

They are 9.5" Bars and I ordered the bars through my local dealer and asked @allpro to get them longer than what they have on their site. Normally they come at 8" and they can make them up to 11" at no extra charge.

Im really happy I went higher since I can still see a bit out of the back and hopefully Ill still be able to use the annex on the tent properly.

You need to fix your ladder- about 30* from vertical is recommended.
And you'll probably be able to use the annex, you'll just have to use the velcro strips on the inside to shorten the walls. I will say I've found the annex 100x's more useful now that my tent is actually on the roof.

That would work. When I had mine on my 1st gen it was just a few inches shy of me being able to walk under it - unless I was parked on a slope. Now I have more than enough headroom under the tent and I don't have to worry about bonking my head on the edge

Aha ya I already figured out that the ladder wasn't going to work like that. I had it set in the little holes that are pre-drilled. I was thinking of drilling two new holes up higher so that its not at such a large angle.

 just making sure. those holes are the maximum extension for the ladder, not safe/stable to go past that.

Thats the only thing I am worried about is hitting my head lol. Working on boats I hit my head enough on pipes and low overheads.

Had to go to a wedding in Borrego Springs on Saturday. Instead of driving home we drove out to Ocotillo Wells and sat around a campfire to relax.

Gonna be joining the RTT crowd soon, pretty excited! Getting my Prinsu racks installed in the meantime. I'm interested in the Tepui kukenam. Anyone who has one know how much it weighs folded and packed?
