LOL. It was kind of not favorable for Tacomas in general. At least that's the impression I got from it.

 

CR can kiss my pale white heinie. They review everything like it's a car. If I wanted a car, I'd buy a car. I like trucks.

 

Meh. Even if they did I wouldn't use them.

 

I used one for the first time before our trip to Jamaica this winter, but that was so I wouldn't turn crispy the first day on the beach, lol. Once we got back I didn't care enough to keep going and now I'm pale again.

 

I've owned 5 Rangers. Pretty sure they don't make a "Limited Edition".

Actually they kind of hit the nail right on the head regarding Tacomas. Basically for the price you pay Toyota isn't up to par compared to other trucks in certain areas.

Road noise, ride comfort( I know I know it's a truck, not a car. But most trucks do have a smooth ride compared to a Tacoma. Also seat comfort.) technology, etc...


But most of us bought it to last. And that's why most are willing to pay a little more for a little less in certain areas.

 

The lack of 'cutting edge' tech keeps it off the recall list like what the offerings from GM have been experiencing, though. It's a trade-off. New tech is great when it works and it really really sucks when it goes wrong. And the ride quality is 'trucky' which is why it does well off road. That's the tradeoff that we get for ground clearance and capability vs a chin dragger. Seat comfort is subjective, I suppose, since I prefer a harder seat

And I don't notice road noise because it gets drowned out by the tire noise from the Duratracs

 

you're not supposed to hear that. LOL.

In all seriousness. Toyota is lacking in some areas with the Tacoma. But that's because the truck sells as is, without it. Little things have disappointed me. For example me having to fix all of my door lock actuators on my truck. But I still love it and plan on keeping it for a while.

 

It would be cool if you could get the trd or with manual windows and locks.
