My front end suspension is very quiet, but my stupid CV seems to be making some noise.

Yeah with 33 you are running at lower rpm which can help on the highway as long as it's not too hilly. But even all highway on my truck and hardly much flat ground I just got 19.5 mpg. That's 33's and quite a bit of extra steel.

How fast are you going on the highway. Averaging at 80 mph I get about 20 mpg .

Considering my speedo is way off . With the needle at 75 I figure im at 80 on a 32" tire

Remember with your speedo way off so is your odometer, so all your calculations might be screwy.

Lol I know what you mean, we have the same issue in Western Washington, random rainy grey days then out of nowhere super sunny and hotter than the face of the sun. But you can see Mt. Ranier and hood so no complaints I guess. My problem is that I'm in Eastern Wa right now so I its hot and dry for days and nights.

and if you're reading optimistic... it means your Odometer THINKS your traveling further per gallon. so your MPG will be lower. 20mpg at 80 would be pretty amazing for a pickup.

On my truck, 60 mph seems to be the optimum speed for best gas mileage. With most everyone else insisting on going 80, it can be somewhat of an adventure to attempt to maintain that speed

Mine just won't do 80 unless it's downhill. My fifth gear is basically for show.

I think this could only happen if you have smaller tires than stock correct?

If you have larger tires without regearing, then you are covering more distance with the same number of odometer clicks which would give you better mileage than calculated from the odometer.
