Thanks :) It hooks to the underside of the truck topper on the inside of the truck and the straps are adjustable to level it out. A piece of rubber weather stripping keeps the back from sliding against the truck.

It's pretty sturdy and seems to get more stable with more weight:

It also lets me get breakfast going before the lazy bum gets out of her sleeping bag:

Oh, and related to the side shelf, I've got an awning that mounts to the Yakima tracks for our lovely PNW weather. It's not as bling as an ARB awning, but it was a fraction of the price. Here's the prototype before having a nice waterproof canvas version done up:

    DSCN4108e_22e61c39bae68a4c9dfd52b39ea60f85c339c1e3.jpg

It mounts to the topper with a wingnut onto a threaded stud that fits into a piece sitting inside of the roof rack track:

Most definitely. I just wanted to try out the air mattress and see if the lack of headroom would be as annoying as I thought it would be, and it was. I'm going to go back to using a foam mattress pad.

Do you have build pictures of the drawer? I'm interested in how you have the drawer slides mounted & the top secured. Also, what did you use to fill the t-slot on the front, where you have the lock mounted in the 80/20 rail?

Pretty much. I get so carried away with PM that sometimes I think I have a problem....

Guess working in the service industry will do that to you.

I'd work on my truck every single day if I had a shop and proper tools to do so. I personally get a lot of satisfaction out of doing my own work and learning how everything works. I just don't have the means to do as much as I'd like.

 I like the first one where you can see all the underside. The black and white / wide lens gives it a very artistic rendering / feel. Neato indeed!
