Took my front bumper off today to do some adjustments, clean it and weld to one piece and add the winch finally!!

 

I'll be watching the moab shenanigans via the forum this year. Too much going on to swing it this year....and that drive...be prepared it SUCKS!

I recommend just camping in town, BFE is cool but the no seeums tore us up.

 

Ha! Trying to it in 30 hours.

 

I will be departing for Moab on 18 June, should be there around the 26th after a few other trail tours

I'm coming from NY, but we are leaving the 27th after work, or early the 28th

 

My tentative plan is to leave on the 26th from Pa.
I'm not planning on rushing , and would like to see the Kokapeli trail , and a few others on the way into RT.
I have some good information, on trail selection from another member who has done it previously. I also have trail guides and maps.
If anyone is interested in this itinerary feel free to invite yourself along.

I did it last year. No time for it this year but you'll definitely enjoy it!

 

I want to on a future trip but this is the first year and with a girlfriend along that's skeptical at best means we'll be headed straight in. I'm thinkin she's gonna love it though so we'll be back

 

Welded my allpro standard bumper into a single piece last night... No more bumps making it slip around gonna paint it today and get it installed with the winch this weekend

Wanna give this thread some revival... I'm still definitely going and planning to meet up with the group outside of St. Louis if that's still in the cards

 

I'm in but will not be able to leave until 5/27. I'll be headed to connect with @Littles in Colorado then hope to hit Koko trail.

 

I'm rolling out 5/29 either by myself or one or two others. I won't be doing the KOAs either. When I feel like stopping I will and pop open the RTT

 

We leave VA the morning of 5/28 Craig so if we can catch you around St. Louis let me know. I'm not too particular on where we stay but we are definitely trying to avoid hotels and would like to camp with a group, KOA's or "side of the road"

Me and @bluewaters182 will be leaving 5/28 to get there early and do some hiking.

We will be rolling out of Dayton around 2PM and blasting through St. Louis around 7PM Central (8PM Eastern). Then continuing to Kansas City (Arriving around 11PM Central) and camping somewhere along the road there.

 

So you're making it to Kansas on the night of the 28th? We're doing a side stop in Nashville that night so I guess we'll see you at the event!!
