Evening Mike.... I'd ask how you were, but I saw your posts... Wonder what's gonna happen in a few years when all us 50+'s quit working and the younger generation has to step up :notsure:

Had to... you guys do some serious posting when I'm not around.

I don't miss those days... coming home stinky or dirty from work

I know all about the good kid / not a good student - well, at least he didn't apply himself. He FINALLY learned when he had to go back to college and one grade wouldn't transfer (he'd gotten a "D"). Until then, if I mentioned anything a wall would come up....

Yep, he is going to a community college until he can figure what he wants to do...I haven't told him that alot if his D's won't transfer, he can learn that himself.

I was kidding I would rather work with people like Blue, get the work done, no BS.

This was kid related, she is under stress and I was keeping her from more stress...big mistake...it's like the truck window thing, I was over thinking it.

i knew you were kidding andy. the community college thing is getting pretty big here with either kids who need a little more "inspiration" or in va. with most community colleges after 2 years (depending on grades of course) you can transfer to a state school. it's a great savings and really helps to keep student debt down. the down side is it requires discipline because while the kids are living at home they usually get jobs and 1 thing leads to another and alot never get past community college. still a good alternative. i certainly wish him the best
