The QuickLIFT PLUS gas springs are black e-coated and have a 4 year warranty. Part # 21-27015-02.
    http://www.redlinetuning.com/Toyota-Tacoma-2016-p/21-27015-02.htm
The QuickLIFT ELITE gas springs are 316 Stainless Steel and have a 5 year warranty. Part # 21-27015-03.
    http://www.redlinetuning.com/product-p/21-27015-03.htm

No difference in the function between the PLUS and ELITE, only the material finish.

Just ordered my "ELITE" set today. Can't believe Toyota didn't include gas springs to lift that heavy hood, but at least a smart vendor leaped into the breach. :D

Could one of you give us the name and number on the struts? And maybe length from ball to ball closed and open?

Looks great! Although the OCD in me is coming out and the Redline Tuning logo is upside down.

You can easily swap the gas springs to the other side to solve it.

Just had the struts installed by a local shop. Cost $100, well worth it, since I was not about to start drilling holes in my new truck. Guy who did it has a custom shop that specializes in aftermarket metalworking. Struts work nicely, surprised at how thin they are, compared to the hood struts on my old 2003 4Runner.

I added my struts today and it took around thirty minutes. I added Rustoleum black rubberized paint to the drilled openings and also to the bottoms of each rivet to protect against any sort of corrosion. I like them!

For those that did this themselves, do you have any install pics or tips?

You can download the install guide from Redline's site. This is what I followed. Other than sealing the holes I had to drill nothing deviated from their guide.
