disregard my vote. I voted before I read all of the post.
I have all weather mats and they are staying in.
If the accel peddel did get stuck for whatever reason...just reach down and unstick it...or shift to neutral and turn off the truck.. duh

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
New gas pedals that won't get stuck on floor mats.

Mine are staying put. I'm in northern Wisconsin and I'm not about to ruin my light gray floor with snow/salt/mud ground into it!

email from my dealer's service manager:

"The recall won’t take effect for your vehicle until spring 2010. Toyota has not resumed selling the all weather floor mats, and does not recommend putting any type of mat down until the recall has been completed.
    "

Again, i dont think im going to listen to them, it doesnt sound like they know whats really going on either. I know they stopped selling the toyota all-weather mats. Just curious what you guys think.

The only reason why we have this problem is because people were not using the supplied clips to hold em down, or putting to big of floormats in the vehicle in the first place. As cometkat put it in a different thread on this same topic:

For those of us that hardly ever put the gas pedal all the way to the floor, I'm assuming there's no risk. So they're staying where they are - clipped in of course.

Fantastic. So...when the brake is applied in an emergency situation, your foot can slip off, and go right to the floor. :woot:
