Yeah, when a .300 goes off indoors I get the sensation of what it must be like inside a howitzer.

Good to know , luckily I carry the ear plugs just in case

On second thought, has anyone ever brought a 12g go the target range?

My old man just got a 18.5 savage that he wants to test , what ammo is best to use? Hell does it matter?

Mine forbids shotguns because A) too damn loud, and B) the shot damages the target mounts.

I recently ponied up and got a set of custom earplugs. I paid $60 for them, there was a woman set up at the last chantilly gun show that was doing them. It involves injecting silicone into your ear canal and feels very strange when it happens, but by far the most comfortable pair of earplugs I've ever used (sorry, don't have a picture currently)

I am fairly sure that I have a policy against a random Tart injecting things into any of my bodily openings.

There was this time in Thailand....

The woman was actually very professional about it, just like that time in Thailand

At no point during any of the three days was she not busy. I was lucky in that I was working for one of the dealers and got mine done before the show opened one day

Aulthough I am still in therapy for Thailand and its professionals.....

A set of custom earplugs is high on my to do list. Between shooting and motorcycling I use them all the time

I've heard the silicone ones last longer then the mold at home version

I wear the soft foam earplugs when I ride. It cuts down on wind noise but doesn't block other sounds so I can pay more attention to them. Guarantee I can hear more of my surroundings than those Harley riders with pipes that split your eardrums when they get on the throttle.

I like the electronic ones for skeet shooting, but when you are shooting a rifle with scope they are a pain so I use the foam or triple flange.

Lol wind noise... Do you wear a full face? You couldn't ride like that down here, got too many old people and immigrants think motorcycles are invisible . To each their own.
