You paint those or powder coat? Mine ship this week just like yours, minus the kick out, but getting them bare. I'm leaning toward Line-X because I won't wheel that hard on them and want something that will protect the underneath. Just afraid if I spray bomb them, that they might eventually start to rust and I think Line-X might protect them better.

    Yours look great btw!!!

Yep, powder coated locally. Make sure if you get them powder coated that they media blast them (they probably will anyway), and have them put a primer on them as well (increases durability), then powder coat them. The guy we went to does all the work for Caterpillar, and they require primer before powder coat. He showed us several samples from a gloss black, all the way to a heavy texture.

@Mobtown Offroad, looking to purchase for a 2016 DCSB, kickout options. Is the $589.00 amount on the site including the black powdercoating?

Also, any orders going out near Seattle, WA in the next 8 weeks? Hoping to save a bit on shipping as well!

It does not. We no longer offer powder coating for orders that are shipped. It is far to difficult to ensure orders arrive without the powder being marked and scratched. We took great care in packaging but trucking companies just don't care to be careful.

No orders going to Washington a this time.

Well worth it honestly. I use my sliders all the time, not for their intended purpose of course but they really help the family get in and out of the truck, as well as accessing other parts of the bed that are just beyond my reach.

Nah, the quality is all that matters to me honestly. I do want a sticker if they ever come available though ;)

The no powder coating is honestly the best way. I saw how Joe packed them, and they were done well, but on the receiving end... those guys couldn't give a shit about what's in the crate. Look around your area for a reputable powder coater. You may have to go to a few shops, or even out of the way to get what you want. Be specific, and make sure they actually have samples of their work, not just pictures. The powder coater my friend and I used, I had work done at before on a bicycle trailer. He did quality work then, and he did an excellent job on the sliders now. He charged us $150 per set, and that included the washers and other hardware we brought to him. He was really cool about it.

Man, I just got a quote from Lin-X and they said $350. Powder coat has to be cheaper. Im even going to look into POR-15 Coating, Ican do that my self.
