@JYSTR sent me to the thread you made for it, looks a lot more badass then any other bed racks I've seen. I'd really like to see some pics of how well it attaches to the cross bars. Do you have any plans on making your own kayak rack, maybe one for the sides also?

Because that one is available from Amazon so cheap, I probably won't bother making one of my own.

I actually ordered that kayak rack for my 4Runner, and I don't even have a kayak yet!!

Took the truck back on Friday they called and confirmed that it was still leaking from the timing cover and they also found an additional leak from the valve cover where the previous tech messed up the gasket when he reinstalled it. I requested a different tech do the job this time since the other missed quite a few things. They assigned their most seasoned tech and assured me that they'll check and double check everything as it goes back together for the second time. Toyota Corp has been in contact with me this entire time making sure everything is going smoothly and trying to make this as easy on me as possible. I'm going to try and get pics from my advisor as he mentioned it's a pretty extensive job. I'll post them up if I get any.

Ha, nope. This time they gave me a Sienna, better than the Prius I guess, more room and comfort at least. Cool points, none though.

Well it's been over a month and no leaks which I'm glad that ordeal didn't have to get any longer than it already took. In the end the dealership and Toyota Corp. took care of me. Toyota offered me an extended warranty that covers the entire truck (8years/125,000 mile Platinum warranty) and I just received the packet in the mail last week. So overall there was a problem and they took care of me and the truck. Lesson here is be patient and don't be an asshole if you have a problem but be persistent.
