Like the looks of the truck but don't really care for the color.

I've had my '16 DCSB TRD Sport 5 months now and just love this truck!

We've only seen white and cement...it apparently comes in red as well but hasn't been shown yet. It's pretty hard to not like white...and the cement is different. What is the color of your truck and do you have pics?

The paint, Magnetic Gray,, on my '16 TRD Sport DCSB looks like it just came out of a custom paint shop. Smooth as glass, no "orange peel" or any other defects.

I think I'm with everyone on the tires. They should have gone with at least the BFG not saying they are the best but you would probably have a tad bit better grip in those off road situations. It's unfortunate that BFG couldn't make the cut as far as bidding on this. I'm not really certain of everyone's take on as I haven't seen much said here about it. The HOOD SCOOP has to go. It has zero function just like the Sport so why have it?
My 06' has been paid off waiting for the frame to get replaced and then adios time for a new truck. The question remains do I go for the '17 Pro or the '17 OR and put a Fox suspension under it hmmmmm choices.

You guys really think it will be 45K? The 4runner TRD Pro is only 43.5K.

Just look at the asking price of the limited.. Then add a premium for the Fox Suspension, rigid lights, grille, crawl control, etc.. Toyota isn't gonna give that away... My guess is between 40 and 45k, which is NUTS, but to some people, the value may be there.

The Pro basically has all the same features as the Limited (minus the moonroof). Then add Fox, Rigid, grill, skewp, skid plate, exhaust, and unique color (cement).

I've been trying to do the math to build a similar Pro replica...
Fox 2.5 front coils....$1,300ish (however the Pro has springs, not coilovers I think?)
    Fox 2.5 rear shocks...$1,000ish
    Toyota OEM Grill....$450ish
    Toyota OEM Skid Plate...$450ish
    Exhaust...$?
    Skewp...$?

If the MSRP on the 4x4 Limited is around 39k and you add the above upgrades, you'd be looking at 42-43k+ (without install)

As long as the Pro comes in around 42-43k, I'd say it's a pretty good deal for factory setup with warranty. But as others pointed out, the 4Runner Pro is right around 43k MSRP. Do you think they'll charge more for a Tacoma? I always assumed the 4Runners were more expensive. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Tacoma list around 41-42. They can afford to cut back the price a little with all the money they saved putting those crappy Goodyears on there

At my local dealer there is a '16 TRD Off Road that is stickered at $39+K. JBL ENTUNE, Heated Seats, and Moon Roof. The local dealer is usually the best deal around.

I guess that is where I was going. I always believed the tacoma pricing lower than the 4r trim to trim. So unless the 2017 4runner TRD Pro is going to jump significantly in price (possible for sure) I cant imagine a 45K price. Not to mention the 4R has power seats and the Tacoma will not.

The 2016 TRD pro pricing is:

    Tundra TRD Pro
    $42,945 starting msrp 1

    4Runner TRD Pro
    $41,550 starting msrp 1

    2017 Tacoma TRD Pro
    Coming Soon

 4Runner looks close (Build and Price on Toyota.com shows $41,85), but pretty far of for the Tundra...

I wonder how they can have an over $2500 difference on the same website. If you just click "Build", that shows $45,560 as a starting price... I wonder if the difference is double cab vs. crew max? The "Build" feature doesn't seem to allow you to change that, but it shows both as an option. Cab configuration would make the price difference would make sense...

I just really wish I knew how much they were going to cost! If they are priced stupid high (which to me is north of about 41.5k), then I'll forget about it... At that point I'll get an OR or go full size...

For the Tundra Pros I'm seeing the CrewMax's (8371) around $47,000+ and DoubleCab's (8351) around $45,000+ on my Central Atlantic Toyota region pricing.

-Delivering and Processing fee is $1,195

I think it will be north of 41.5. Like someone said, a limited comes in around 40k for a 4x4. And mind you they don't even give you an upgraded suspension at that price, you get the Hitachi shocks. So the pro with the upgrades is going to be well north of 41.5.

I don't think there will be much room to negotiate on them either because it will probably be a low volume truck for that price.

There is a automotive bubble right now as well. I was shocked that its going to cost me 40k for a new truck but that it what it is right now and your right they will only release like 3k of them first half of year to keep pricing close to msrp
