285/70/17 with small lift

Could do this but then I'd lose my rake for towing and sag with any weight.

 

265/70/17 bf goodrich at2, w/billys @1.75 rides amazing and I keep up with just about everything I've been offroad with

 

Those 275's do look beefy. I like.

 

It's got a really aggressive sidewall, which I really like. They're probably gonna be my next tire.

 

If you're towing, I'd stick to 275s because of the power loss as well. I'd go 275/70r17 or 265/70r17

lol this boat sips gas and is actually my buddies. I'll be in the market for a bay boat of my own later in the year. This boat is ideal for back country fishing though.

 

Yes sir!! I had 18 feet of aluminum and ran that boat all over South Florida. I would like to get into something else but with the birth of my first child that has been put to the back back burner! Tight lines!

You do any trimming to haul with the 275's? I'm getting a 3" icon lift and am slightly concerned with hauling. I have a 6x12x6 enclosed trailer that I haul stuff in pretty rarely.

 

Is 275 70 r 17 a good match for a 17x9 rim with a -12 back spacing? Think 275's in either Cooper A/Ts or Toyo open country A/T II

I'm running cooper AT3s in LT275/70-17 on a 4runner sport rim on stock TRD Sport suspension. No rubbing anywhere. it works so well that, after I throw on some 6112s, I may just stick with these vs going to 285s.

 

Well ordered tires today went with 285/75/R17. Hope they aren't going to rub to much. Toytec 3 in coilovers 1 and 1/2 aal and new shocks. Not sure if I will need spacers or not. Planning on removing mudflaps.

 

Only thing I've done for hauling is installed a brake controller... I did have to remove my front mud flaps only because I was getting some really minor rubbing on hard turn overs. I also have a 3" drop hitch ball...
