You have your halos attached to its resistor right? Then from that resistor( little black box), you have three wires; black, white, and amber I think.

^ What he said. . . Thank Jimmy for always being helpful when I haven't been in the thread.

We sent you an email just now to troubleshoot the halos. Check the connections to the resistors.

Yeah man, always down to help members!

How do you want your halos to be wired exactly? Always on when the truck is on or on a switch?

If you're going to wire it to a switch, you don't even need to wire it to your dtrl. Just wire it as if you're wiring your aux light.

Again, I don't have the option to turn off my dtrl, I know some model do.

I may have to see more. All I see is you connecting your parking light bulb

My goal is to have halos on alone. I do not want them on when headlights are on (trying to maximize lifespan of LED halos that from what I read dislike heat).

Just wire them to a switched ignition source. I have mine wired to come on when I start the truck. I never turn mine off, even at night because I forget. You could tap into the source in the under hood fuse panel (not under dash).

No I don't. I failed to mention that I have the color change halos so I have a wireless remote and I can turn mine off whenever I want. But if you wanted yours on a switch the same method would apply. You would just need to run your switch from the dash to the ignition source or even directly to the battery may work, just don't forget to turn them off

You can wire them to a relay, without a switch. You can wire them so as soon as the headlights come on, it turns it off.

Or you can wire them to a switch and turn them off manually.

    Which one would you prefer?

Humm. Well I ordered my retros from RAD with a switch for in the cabin. But as I wait and debate, I am wondering what will be the easiest wiring/install process. How do you wire it so they turn off when the headlights come on? That sounds more confusing/difficult than a switch to the cabin.

A switch requires you to run a wire into the cab. The other doesnt.

    Here's a diagram.
And your parking lights are connected right? Your halos should be on when you turn your parking lights on via the knob inside the cabin

^ His parking lights are connected as he shot a picture over to use with it on and the halos not on. I'd go over all the connections again that involve the halos. Maybe undo the splice we made and reconnect them. Something may have came lose during transit.

On a different note, look how pretty that rear housing is. . . So uniform and complete.:D

@Mph6779 We even prewired everything in advance and tapped it in for you to make it a simple plug n play. You're the first we did this for to make the install more seamless. We tested your halo once before we even mount them to make sure they work. Then we test after we close the lights so they leave in 100% working condition. Everything should work fine as we run through the connections again. Check the connections from beginning to end as well as the grounds to figure whats not allowing them to turn on. If all else fails, we can send another wire harness out and we can run it off an independent button. We'll get you figured out buddy!

    Kind regards

Thats the best way to do it imho. It allows you to control the Halo and extend the life of it as well. I personally like it because it gives you an excuse to have another novelty button inside the cab.

^ They're coming along my friend. Sorry, we're finishing up some builds first before we dabble into the fogs. Sorry buddy but they'll get out shortly! That TRS Backorder has jammed not only us but everyone back. Let's just say we ordered parts 3-4 weeks ago and now just getting shipping confirmation.

Sorry everyone who has been effected by this delay in shipment from TRS. We even reached out to our fellow builders/friends to barter and exchange parts to get builds done.

    Kind regards
