While the FN FX Pro does look like the TRD Pro I don't consider them a knock off. FN's are lighter and wider with a better offset which gives me way more options on tire sizes.

Those look like the OEM TRD pro(4-runner) rims. NOT FN's. There is a lot of the "China SEMA PRO" wheels like that floating around. Contact Dustin directly and you won't have any issues.

Wrong size for the TRD Pro wheels.

^ Yes I know. With the center cap like that, they have the OEM TRD look. But obviously not in a box like that. That's why I mentioned "SEMA TRD PRO" style, as there are many variant knockoffs of the Genuine PRO wheel under that name(search ebay, etc) Also available in different widths (7", 8"). I'd stay away.

Just for information sake, why should I stay away from these if they are the "China Sema" wheels?

Has there been any known issues with these wheels or would that comment be based on typical inferior quality of far east knock offs. I do tend to support this mindset especially for something critical like wheels and doubly so if there have been previous reports of issues.

I wouldn't trust something as critical as a wheel in the hands of an unknown China knockoff company. The casting of these wheels plays an important part of quality and you can be sure these things have low quality control and would crumble at the first sign of stress. One pothole and that thing could crack and you may not even know it.

I'd rather not risk the lives of the occupants of my vehicle by saving a few dollars per wheel. Just not worth in IMO.

    All good points above.

Also for the info of all searching for wheels, the seller did just confirm that they are not the FN brand wheels nor are they Toyota genuine wheels. Others out there should be aware also.

I am going to pass on them.

I love this forum for info like this. Now if I could just stop reading the low trans fluid threads... :annoyed:

Agreed. Even free is too expensive it they fail and harm someone. I wouldn't take the chance either.

    Hey guys,
I have been trying to find these wheels online and I can not seem to locate them. Do you need to go directly though someone or could anyone point me in the right direction?

The best way is to call Dustin, he is very good at returning call but emails are not so quick for some reason. My first call no one picked up so I hung up thinking I would call at a better time, then hours later I got a call back without even leaving a message and he gave me all the details and answered every question I had. I placed my order over the phone at that time.

Had these put on today. The only problem I'm having is trying to get new sensors programmed. I have Tirerack working on the problem and what they sold me. I went with what I have seen others use on the 3rd Gen forum as far as sensors and were successful, but the initial installer had no clue and thought they would just work, even thought I told them that I didn't think the '16 Tacoma worked that way. He turned into an A-hole when I went back with my TPMS light on and said it was Tirerack's and my issue, not his. Instead of waiting on Tirerack to get back to me I tried MR Tire and they listened, tried to initialize as a '15 Corolla because he didn't have my Tacoma in his computer either and that failed. I wanted to keep the stock wheels and sensors together incase I wanted to go back or what ever, or I thought they would sell faster if I went that route. I should have just transferred them to the new wheels.

So far I'm loving the combination, BFG AT KO2 265/70/17 "C" rated.

As far as rubbing, I think I may have issues because there is only about 1/4" when the wheel is fully turned but I'll deal with that after I know it's happening.

Theses are the sensors I bought, http://www.tirerack.com/tpms/result...coma+4wd&autoYear=2016&autoModClar=Access+Cab

    Here are the wheels.

Does anyone besides BigRed42 have these FN FX Pro wheels in matte black or matte gunmetal gray on a MGM, I'd like to see the color contrast pics as I'm trying to decide the wheels to match with the BFG KO2s. Thanks.

Hi @BigRed42, looks excellent. How do you like the matte gunmetal with the MGM? Any other pics you can share zoomed?
