    While not new to trucks, I am new to Tacoma's. Just purchased a 2010 DCSB. I'm trying to tell from your pics how this clamps to the bed. Mine has the rails with the movable tie downs located just below the top of bed. Even with those rails removed there doesn't appear to be much, if any, "lip" for the clamps. Am I missing something?

    It mounts to the rail system. The bottom half of the clamps fits into the rail system.

    Just curious because I have one coming, with this mounting like this can you still use the factory tie downs that fit in the rail system with the topper mounted? It doesn't look like there is room.

    I have a century cap, but my tie downs work perfectly in the rail system with the cap on. Theres plenty of clearance for both.
