    I am on the lookout for a decent tacoma in a junkyard I will let you know if I find one. I need a muffler and might grab some other parts depending on their condition.

    If your truck was getting torn down and rebuilt with a new frame what cheap parts would you buy to have installed as the dealership has already offered to install whatever stock parts I bring in?

    I've seen others getting the frame recall doing steering rack bushings, drive shaft center bearing, and U joints ... wondering if there is anything else I should get?

    Thanks. I already had my frame done, and didn't have any stock parts replaced outside of what comes with the frame. I did take them some extended brake lines to install and they did a good job with those and issued a warning to keep my eyes on them because the mounting is not quite factory. Steering Rack bushings would be good, but the dealer will only replace the whole rack not just the bushings. The rest of the stock parts I change myself..
