Even the wife was impressed, and that's hard to accomplish.

 

Just installed Ionic Gladiator Brite running boards. Can't decide on which end caps to use. Black or chrome look. I have a Harley and love chrome. But, it's not real chrome. Plastic chrome.

Just under 2500 now. Reset the TCM by disconnecting the battery and it feels much nicer. I think the issue is more with the learning than the low fluid.

 

Indeed it is an action packer from Rubbermaid. I just installed the rod holder to it because my cover does not not let me use the bed rails. Highly recommend it to store all sorts of equipment and tools!!!

 

Coverking ballistic seat covers, and made a door cover so my dog can hang out the window without tearing anything up.

Finally done arguing with the insurance company and getting my roof fixed

 

Dipped my grill yesterday! i thought i would change it up from the regular black, let me know what you guys think!!!

 

Installed 1/4" mesh screen behind both grills, to keep bugs and gravel from embedding into the radiator fins.
Had done this to my Jeep since day one and the radiator fins are still clean even after 190K
two coats of mat black and you can hardly tell it's there. I'm using the rest of the screen to make pet window screen guards
when I get my cap.

 

Did you take off the grill or mask it. Looks really nice. Is that plasti dip paint? Thinking of doing mine, lots of bugs. Wish I could teflon coat mine so the stupid bugs dead bodies wash off better..

Picked up my tcoma from dealer after the 5000 mile service and had them check u bolts and tighten them to spec and left overnight to check tranz fluid and wind noise around upper doors. Well the wind noise is a normal thing and the tranz was a quart low. And I just got under with my torque wrench and the u bolts were only 34 lbs instead of the 52lbs well there goes my trust in that dealers technitions.

 

What dealership did you take it to?

 

Might want to check that tranny they claimed they topped off while your at it. I am not surprised one bit. It's very hard to find a good dealer. It is best to find a good service writer that will take care of you and make sure the monkeys in the back do most of there job right. He can't confirm it all but it helps.

 

I have that window wind noise as well. It howls loud in a crosswind while driving. If I stick my finger in between the door and seal at upper part of the window where I hear the noise and put pressure on the door spreading it out a little bit the noise goes away. This should not be normal.
