Yeah....lots of threads about how much snow everyone got and how much fun it was to play in it.

Yeah...yeah....How many of you can still be happy about it?

This totally sucks!! It'll be nasty like this until March. The snow melting = SALT SPRAY all over your truck & DIRTY OILY WATER all over the roads and on your truck. The undercarriage of our trucks are gonna look like royal shit along with the sides. Good Luck trying to keep it clean...cuz as long as the sun it out to melt this stuff - it's always gonna keep your truck dirty ALL WINTER LONG.

The downside to all this snow....

I really dont care what my truck looks like.
I just want it to be warm so I can put on my rain guards. Anyone wanna lend me a heated garage spot for 48 hours?

Yea, when the snow starts melting it's a mess. My red truck turns brown. I also hate shoveling snow. It gets old quick, but other than that I don't mind it too much. I'd rather it stay in the mountains filling our water reservoirs and helping the ski resorts. JMO.

Nice. I feel so much better now. :p

Just this past Saturday, the entire northeast couldn't get out of their driveways to go Christmas shopping ... but they watched TV while wearing flip flops and long johns. :D

You're right Janster, the snow is fun for one day, two tops. as soon as it starts to get dirty it's just a pain, until the next storm comes along, then 2 more days of enjoying winter. All in all, I'd rather live somewhere where it never snowed. Maybe someday I'll be able to spend summers here in New England and winters somewhere warm.

It's not even that bad if you live in an area where it stays below freezing all winter - Like in Boston or N.H. (where I grew up). It's still dirty stuff and a pain in the ass to shovel - but atleast it stays frozen. I doubt they use nearly as much salt & rocks (or friction stuff) up there as they do down here. They're constantly putting salt on the roads here.... snow melts and gets soft during the day and by the evening, it gets hard as a rock and leaves black ice everywhere.

It is what it is.... just makes for a very very tough job to clean all the salt and road debris/dirt expecially on the undercarriage. I'll take mine to a car wash about once a month. But seems as soon as you do that, it only stays clean for 5 minutes (and $6 wasted at the car wash power washer thing).

Fixed it - I'm with you all the way Janster. Three months of crap to not look forward to. Makes me kinda jealous of those AZ - Cali - southwest boys that are smart enough to live in the warm and dry parts of their states. :D
