Access Cab 2014 Lowered?

I just ordered the lowering kit from XIIPERFORMANCE and I am wondering how much of a drop I will get. Someone here use that kit that can show me a pic so I can have an idea Ho le my truck will end up looking.

BTW my tires size are R235/50R19

The manufacturer doesn't say what drop their lowering kit gives you?

Ease up bud, it's a 5-lug .. much easier to deal with in lowering it, than to sky-jack yet another 6-lug.

looks like one of the kits they have is the 1.7" front and 2" rear.

Take a tape measure and and measure out approx. 1 3/4" down from the fender and 2' down on the rear. From my experience.... the top of the fenders should sit just above the tires.. Maybe 2 fingers above. And sit level, no rake.. Front springs are made by Eibach so they are good quality..

Thanks for the info, definitely what I was looking to get but not sure if I want to go that route with the notch cutting thing. I will try the kit I ordered from XII Performance and if I not satisfied by the results then I may try that.

That looks nice. another .5" in the front and it would be perfect IMO. The rear is just right.

Nothing against wanting to lower a truck, but how do you get around? You would bottom those things out just getting in and out of parking lots around here.

 

I've always wondered the same thing. Nothing against it, just not my cup of tea. Out of comedic obligation, I have to share this picture though.

 

You either have airbags and adjust your suspension/vehicle height like any airbag equipped vehicle or you don't drive where you can't get around.

I got my lowering kit a few hours ago and I start the installation and so far I love the look on my truck, still need to install the front parts.
