Installed a new battery today. I have a TRD bracket for it that will sit flush over the battery handle. Need longer mounting rods and they should be here soon.

 

Far is knee deep there. Shark bite capital of the world.

 

I need a new bracket for mine, the rod seems to be seized in place

 

We go to Vero and clear water isn't that safe either. One spot we normally go to the lifeguard called it hammerhead point. Fml hahaha

 

I got my first taste of undertow in new Smyrna just a couple of years ago. I've been in and on the ocean my entire life but that scared the absolute shit out of me

That stuff ain't no joke. Never been in undertow but was shown what to do from my uncle when we went to Vero when I was younger. Swells come in 3s or you have 3 seconds before the next wave. Swim at a angle to shore and dig your feet and hands into the sand if possible

 

I just started a thread on this ? but maybe someone here has some advice. Trailer running lights work, brake and turn signals dont. Have voltage at 7 pin connector for running lights but none for brake or turn signals. Checked 1 fuse under dash and 2 or 3 under hood. Visually all fuses looked good. Any suggestions on next step?

 

Also with the undertow, I grew up in pensacola, swimming in the gulf my whole life. Kinda thought undertow was a myth for tourists. A couple years ago I found out it wasnt. No real danger, just swam parallel to shore instead of fighting it and all was ok, but it was an eye opening experience.
