Picked up my battery after work, and it came back bad. So much for the expensive 31m 1150CCA and 205min capacity. Now that sears no longer carries the battery ill have to get a different replacement, they have another 31m but it only comes in at 675CCA. So I feel like I got a little fucked on the deal seeing as I paid ~300 just over a year ago and now ill have to downgrade the battery.

Heading up to Chicago this weekend to grab her dress, might storm so the softopper might not be a good idea for our bags so onto the shell. Stripped the glass and trimming off, got the driver side laid by myself. Kind of getting a hang of it. Only thing that kicks my ass is when I do the bottom and go up to the top when I have a gap in-between like a window the top ends up getting bunched up. So I had to cut in the middle to overlap the excess, but one seam on the top is good enough for me.

Tomorrow morning ill get it all finished up

So I've found one real downside to driving a larger vehicle downtown Chicago, parking. Got to the hotel and valet wouldn't take it, none of the parking garages would allow me to park, finally one outdoor lot but at $42 and they keep your keys and didn't re open in time. Well after driving around for an hour I found a spot on the steer. Next time driving the daily

Got tired of the balancing beads so I'm having them dismounted right now and getting a true balance

Yeah it was getting to the point of I'm not sure where I'm actually going to park lol. Got my tires balanced and all is good now thankfully, it was getting pretty violent at times on the highway.

I don't mind driving its just the parking that gets me, I don't care to pay to park in the first place. Its kind of entertaining when people are trying to merge into my lane while I'm still in it, just waiting to punt one of those uber drivers into the wall

A older guy at the hotel was chatting to me about my truck, says you could probably run over a family of 4 and not feel a thing

Me neither- I'd buy that if it were a stock paint job in a heartbeat.

For sure, after finishing the wrap and seeing it all I thought I would actually just paint the truck this color

Torn into the dash and wired up the bluesea USB port, a project that should have been finished a long time ago haha. Also wrapped the Iggy panel while I have it out, attempted to wrap the surround with the air vents but ended up burning the vinyl so I said fuck it. Washed the truck, pretty happy with how easy it is to take care of the vinyl
