OK, that helps. When I was in Alaska, one guy had a different explanation of his girl friends girls. :) Wanted to clarify.

    Morning all:

:annoyed: Raining almost every day, and they want heavy rain today. Sure is messing up the turkey hunting, shad fishing, and walleye fishing. My nose is still going ballistic, can't wait for that to clear up but this weather sure isn't helping. :(

All you have to do is send the rain to me ... what's the hold up man? o_O

I should go back to hunting Indian relics in plowed fields, when I needed the rain to wash off any that were plowed up, it didn't rain,
now that I do other stuff where I don't want the rain, it rains all the time! :notsure:
I think I know a sure way to get rain to you Rob! All I need to do is drive the 66 up to Alaska, wash it, and it's almost guaranteed to rain!!!
At least that's the way it seems to be over the years, wash that car and it rains! :D

If you bring it up here ... I won't guarantee I let it go back. ;)

EDIT: I should wash my new truck, but the last two times I did, it was covered again in dust and pollen within a few hours. :frusty:

Seems to work better with the 66 for some reason! I used to joke that I could go to the middle of the Sahara Dessert, wash that car, and it would rain! o_O Seems like now all I have to do is think about washing it and it will rain for a week!!!:laughing:

We're good ... could use some rain. Heaviest pollen I've seen in a very long time, for up here anyway. 3rd odd Winter in row, and early Spring this year.

 The Brits love that UFO conspiracy stuff. Sometime I'll have to tell a few stories about phone calls I took at the RAF Mildenhall CP. Too tired to type it out now ... but SOG HH-53s doing night training NVG ops across the English countryside has a tendency to stir folks up is the short version. ;)

I like the Ford and Chevy styles from the mid '60's or so, but would settle for an old Merc from the late? 40's. Chopped and lowered and all that good stuff of course. Back in the late 70's, wish I'd known my dad was selling his '60 Ford PU, they look neat fixed up, but his only had a straight 6. He sold it for $100.
Finally some rain today in Kalifornia, was dark after I'd been up a little this AM. Just overcast the last couple days and cool. Mid 40's F so far today.
Need to figure out why my late moms computer doesn't like my dial up connection. Since I no longer work and am home now full time, brought her puter to my place to try to replace my ancient Gateway. Ethernet issue still. Guess I will have to bring the thingamagig from her place with the battery backup and see if that will make it work at my place. Local puter shop gave me a pig tail USB to plug in, but that is not working either. Then at moms, had to plug all that in last time I was there to get the phone to work, so hopefully the phone company changed everything back to basic dial up phone service and all that equipement is not needed there, but is what I need.
