Why do you want to keep your factory hitch?

Gone over the Top for a 5-lug..
    Fab-4's retains the factory hitch.

Although, i added an aftermarket U-Haul hitch to mine.. the base 5-lug slug doesn't come OEM equipped with the hitch.

My Fab-4's rear bumper also took out a Chevrolet Equinox today in a relatively low-speed rear-ender.. it didn't move. At All. Just a little bit of powder-coating came off in scrapes.. along with his bumper, headlight surround, grill, radiator... I'd call that quality enough for road armor.

Plate Bumpers after impact with pics?

I use it to tow my boat. Don't really want to change it.

What are the reviews saying about Body Armor's rear bumper? I was just looking at it last night for my 2nd gen, but I haven't dug into any reviews yet.

Anyone with an opinion on Body Armor's quality please chime in. I believe they only make one rear bumper, but just for the sake of clarity here is a stock photo from their website of the bumper I was looking at:

How heavy is your boat? There are bumpers with an integrated hitch that can probably tow it fine.

I'm also interested in a rear tube bumper, but with ability to retain the use of the stock hitch. Come up with anything good?

I've been too busy getting the lift/winch installed to think about the rear bumper, which for me is as much a cosmetic mod as functional, so it's fairly low priority until my factory chrome bumper starts to rot off since I cut some holes in it to flush-mount some auxillary back-up lights.

Next for me is new tires and wiring up the lights and inch to the switches I've added in the cab.

Got this bumper thrown together just over a week ago, can't complain since I was working with a crappy harbor freight tube bender. But it got the job done! Last night I wired up 2 additional pods (now have 4 total) so ill upload some pics later. Skid plate is temporarily on hold, shouldn't be long till it's done.

Another great option is Buckstop here is good ol' Oregon. Solid bumpers that a LOT of public safety agencies use on rigs. Really solid stuff! In the link I was looking for bumpers for my rig but I believe they make them for other years too! Just go to their mane page and put in you year/make/model on the bottom.

Anyone ever had a Trail-Gear Rock Assault bumper?

Manufacturer seems to be in Fresno, I talked to their rep the other day and it looks/sounds like a solid bumper (also it's the closest in looks to what I've been hoping to find, and it looks to be legit high clearance) and they retail through reputable shops, but it's bizarrely inexpensive, which has me a little concerned.
