I'm just pointing out the objective value of one vehicle over the other regarding design & capability. You're the one who posted above that people are "douches" for having an OR model and adding that you hold differing levels of respect for folks who own one model vs another. Clearly you're best suited to answer your own question.

Just because YOU think certain features are more of a bargain doesn't mean others hold the same belief. And yes, most douches will buy the OR and will hardly ever see anything off-road that a baseline Tacoma can tackle with ease, yet they are the ones that mock and criticize everyone else for not thinking the same way as them. Those guys are the douches! There's no 'value' in buying something that has features, appointments, etc that you will never use or want. Just let the people be happy with whatever model they choose, and worry more about yourself!

Purchased Feb 29th, very happy i went with the Limited and not a TRD model. I enjoyed my 2011 TRD off road but the 16 limited is perfect for my type of driving and day to day commute.

it takes 20 minutes at the border. I have sold two to the us since december.
the canadian trucks are from the texas plant so no duty or taxes.

The canadian limiteds come longbox only. They come with the 17" trd sport wheels, both sets of mats, stainless side steps, tie downs and hitch for the tow package.

I just picked up a black limited i might sell if you're interested.

Looks great Hutch! Did you swap the mirrors for sports, or dip them?

That T-Rex grill looks good. I was thinking about getting one but I think the lift will come first.

you can't buy a new truck in canada. you must buy one thats been registered in canada first.

there are no tax or duty paid here. you pay only your state tax when you register it there.
