Good 4 u! The dealership I called to check transmission fluid was going to charge me a service fee! He said if it was low a warning light would come on?? I'm going to have a leveling kit put on next week where I bought the truck, so I'll ask them to check it. The other dealership was 20 miles closer and no help. That's why I went out of town to buy my Toyota! Tom Scott Rules!

I was thinking (can you smell the rope burning?). It says in the maintainance guide. "inspect and adjust ALL fluid levels". At each service. That would in include transmission FLUID. We all got the free service for the first 25000 miles. That was part of the deal of buying the truck as advertised by Toyota. It doesn't say except transmission fluid, it says ALL fluid. If the dealers are refusing to check it, isn't that breach of contract or false advertising? There must be a good attorney out there. My ATF was check by myself, jumper method and was 3/4 qt low. Learning was reset and there is a noticeable improvement in the shifting. I am thinking you guys that have a dealer that refuses. Point out in the Warranty/maintainance manual Toyota gave us it says "all fluid"!

Any idea if these would play nicely with mud flaps? (I've got Rokblokz and would like to keep them.)

I didn't take them off. I used painter tape and took my time. I put somewhere around 5 coats on it. The cool thing is if you change your mind you can simply peel it off.

I used matte black. I also cleaned the chrome first with rubbing alcohol and cotton ball to remove any dirt, wax or whatevers.

I'm going to that with my Limited MGM at some point too. Were the mirror covers easy to pop off?

    • Replaced the OEM carpet floor mats with the OEM floor liners; they fit perfectly.
    • Replaced the OEM wheel locks with regular OEM lug nuts; didn't want to get stranded with stripped wheel locks.
    • Replaced my GoPro camera with an iPhone mount that uses the integrated GoPro mount; wasn't happy with my Hero 4 Session for various reasons.
    • Had my dealer check my transmission fluid level; it was low from the factory by a half-pint.

Greased all my drive-shafts fittings today. Still had paint on them haha. Took quite a bit of grease. Filled till the tiny overfill holes started pushing grease out. Now I have to figure out why it sound like a pulley is chirping...or it could be the port injection. But it sounds like a pulley chirp
