Yeah. It's because you have an access cab. Double Cabs are clear with cargo lights.

It might, but I've heard that they require you to drop the headliner and remove a couple of bolts from the inside. I'm sure I'll figure it out when I get the truck home.

That looks great. Same shell I have.

The ONLY thing I don't like about having the short bed is I can't sleep in the back of it when camping. Sure looks great though with the shell attached.

I went on a solo trip last weekend and just slept in the back of my new DCSB. It was fine for me, diagonally (feet up front between the wheel wells). I'm about 5'10 though. The first night I kept the tailgate up and window down; the second night I had everything open and I found myself creeping out onto the tailgate during the night, but ended up with plenty of foot room so I didn't really gain much from having it open. No bugs, but it dropped to the mid-40's at night so in future I'd close it up when it's cool. It would be a little cozy for two.

I'm 6'1" and fit diagonally. Sure beats a tent if it's pouring.

So you basically just doubled up along the gasket/window seams with the asphalt sealer? How's it holding up?

Anyone put a Bestop soft top on a 3rd gen yet? I've seen a soft topper on one but not a bestop. When I contacted their customer service to ask about fitment they claim their model that fits 05's and up will work. I'm skeptical and want to see one installed.

Looks like a good match to me. I was planning on ordering the same cap for my Barcelona Red. Do you have a pics that better show the color mis-match? That's the sort of thing that would drive me nuts.

Radical. Thanks. Dual vented windoors it is.

Also, nice to see a fuelly badge that reflects a more realistic (and familiar) looking mpg figure. Cheers.

??? My 4wd TRD OR double cab short bed, with ARE Z series, is showing 22.2 US mpg after 5000 miles. A fair amount of highway, admittedly, but mountains and town and mild offroad also. Now, back to shells.

Awesome photos! I have the same truck as you and I am thinking about getting a cap too. Are you happy with your leer?

For those with an ARE cap... Outdoorsman windoors or just the regular sliders? I'm leaning towards the windoors for better access to the inside but also so that on a rainy day I can maybe open them to let air in but keep rain out while resting back there.
