    Stock. For now.
I have a JBL system with the built in sub. but thing vibrates like crazy when you turn up the volume. So I cut up Uhaul blanket and shoved in-between the plastic and cab of the truck to isolate it. sounds a ton better now.

OEM 14+ controls part is like ~$100 but I bought it off another TW member.

This thread has a good DIY + part number:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2014-steering-wheel-control-install.362309/

EDIT: you don't have to disassemble the full steering wheel obviously, just unscrew airbag torx screws and then unplug/unscrew controls and pop them out, add new ones and reassemble.

Over the past couple weeks, I've fixed the wiring on my LED light pods, installed my BAMF sliders, mounted my new Prinsu racks on the cap and topper, and did the swaybar delete mod. All color matched to the truck. And alas I have no pictures. Soon, my friends, soon...

Did a little fab work over the last weekend, built a hidden winch mount for my truck. Did it all out of 1/4". Going for clean as possible. Here's a few pics

20160506_170039.jpgdidn't mod anything today, but went and picked up a welder/generator. So maybe I can fab up some of the things i would like and power the house in a black out.

Wife's tire got a nail on steroids through the sidewall so after taking her car to get fixed I installed my trd exhaust today in the pouring rain. No other option to do it on mothers day weekend so it has to get done lol

Installed my tailgate reinforcement skin and cap from Mobtown Offroad today. Overall I like the appearance and strength, but I'm not impressed with the kit. Holes didn't line up very well, one hole wasn't even drilled, and the bolt/nut combo to pull the rivnuts was terrible, self destructed as I went along. Would recommend using a nut with the same pitch threads as the bolt, and a bolt with threads all the way up to the head. Other than that it went pretty smoothly, got it done in a couple hours.

    The rivnut puller eating itself.

Pulled my custom built gas tank skid plate off and started the repainting process... Was pretty beat up from rock chips and what looks like the result of driving over a log...

Now the real hard part is deciding whether to paint it with one of the many random colors I have on hand or to just bomb it with some gloss black on top of the rocker guard I sprayed tonight...
