You press the button and your ass warms up. It takes 2.098 seconds longer because of the sweet leather between the heater and your ass but your ass gets warm. I wear leather pants on my clazzios so my ass takes a few seconds longer but the double leather heated is a sensation only few will experience.

Anyone have any issues with the air bag light and the seatbelt light coming on after install?

I tracked it to the passenger seat through the manual. So I disconnected all the plugs then reconnected, manual indicated it was probably the seat belt retainer clip, I figured I must have knocked something loose or jarred it with my fat hands and arms jammed under the seat. Regardless the fault cleared, odd though as none of the plugs were loose.

    Regards

    Steve

1st post should help you. I was going with the dark grey but they didn't have any in stock. Luckily I started reviewing this thread and changed to black. Clazzio emailed me multiple times and changed my color and shipped today. Here on Friday. Hopefully my truck will be here too

the dark grey is almost identical to the charcoal color the seats come with. Black is far far darker than what the charcoal or cement seats come with. there are a ton of comments here about black and dark grey, they both match very well. It is totally personal preference. Just make sure you realize the facts, black will always be hotter in the warm months and it will show dust more. Some folks think black looks more classy or classic. if you work industrial then black will hide dirt/grease and stains better

Indeed, these seat covers are really nice for the price, the black look awesome... and the dark Grey do as well. Quite impressive. For the most part there is little long term feedback but from what a few have posted they seem like they will hold up for quite some time. I wish they would work for me. Turns out to be a huge Pain in the A$$ waiting on these cover companies to deliver samples. Clazzio was not like that at all. They shipped their samples when they said they would and they arrived on time and I did not have to remind them three times like I have Autoanything and Caltrend and others.

I think one difference with Katskins and Clazzio is that Clazzio is only partially leather and mostly PVC where Katskins are all leather. But in the end, the PVC stretches better and provides a tighter fitting cover. Over the long long haul there is no doubt that Katskins will last longer and look better after many years. But most folks will ot keep the truck that long to matter.

What I think I really want to eventually invest in is a new seat for my 2016 that has automatic up.down and fwd.aft. A buddy just bought a less expensive Tundra which has all that. In a few years I will look into a custom seat. Unfortunately, the vertical crunch of the 2016 puts me ridiculously high in the cab.... other than that I love the truck. So stoked to have finally gotten this newest tacoma.

I'm torn between pvc vs leather. Any inputs or pictures would help.

I installed the dark grey in mine yesterday! My finger tips hurt like I had Chinese bamboo torture, but they are awesome! I have graphite int and was worried they my be too light, but as said before they are nearly a perfect match to the cloth. I build cabinets and it is hard to get all the saw dust off before I go home each day, so I was afraid of the black. Also living in Texas these should be cooler. I am very happy with my choice!

Yes installed mine yesterday also. My fingers and forearms are on a labor dispute today. I still am having trouble getting the Velcro on the backs of the front seats to connect. I massaged the things and pulled but I am about 1" away to a good secure connection. I think it's cause it's in the 50s here in the North East so hopefully when it warms up they will loosen up.

Have had them now for 4 weeks and love them more each day. Still look great, have softened and conformed to the seat more, very comfortable.

Chemical smell is long gone and now just the great scent of leather every morning when I get in for the morning commute. Probably the single best upgrade I've done to the truck so far.

Been using mine now for the past few days. They did increase the height of the seat roughly 1/2 inch. I am close to the headliner now (I have the sunroof), maybe 1/2 inch to spare, its close, but I like the seat covers and i know the seats will break in as will the covers and I will gain a bit more headroom in the coming weeks.

Everyone who has seen the seat covers here or been in them are shocked they are covers, and all think I must have paid a small fortune for them.

Best upgrade I have made to the truck, that and the weather tech floor liners.

They are better. I spent a half hour tugging and pulling. The Velcro is matching up a bit better. I think I just need some warm weather. Doing it when it's 50 degrees they are kinda stubborn. But I really like them. Everyone that checks them out thinks the are a custom leather install.

Just got my covers in all dark grey, and it's a near perfect match with the grey vinyl on the doors and dash.

No. I picked the leather insert and pvc seat covers. The pvc isn't bad for a "fake leather", and the perforated leather on the inserts is nice.

Edit. That is the armrest cover, it is pvc.
