    Yes
Those are nowhere near the angle in the other photo, that other trucks shocks are going all the way to the front of the wheel well under the bed surface.

they're pretty angled in person, but yea probably not nearly as angled.
Doesn't BAMF make a kit that runs inside the frame?

That photo is at full droop, meaning the angle would be even more on the ground....not to mention compressed beyond that.

    Yea that's true.
Wonder if that's where TC recommends to weld the upper shock mount. Can't imagine TC putting out a product that's sub par

Dunno, looking at where the axle would bump at vs where the bypass would run out of travel, the lower mounts must be super low on the axle in the picture. I imagine you could get away with mounting it closer to the bump with less angle and just adjust the lower mounts accordingly. Almost seems like the 10"'s might be too long for that application unless you want that severe angle of shock.

I agree that the shocks position is kinda extreme. I saw this kit and thought it might work well. I will be getting custom from @Downsouth Motorsports.

I might be able to mount the kit more upright because I have a 1inch body lift and I'm not afraid to cut a little

So I've been back and forth with total chaos with this kit and running bypasses because the advertise it will fit with 1.25 wheel spacers. I asked for some articulated pics and this is what they sent. Great customer service btw.

There is some rubbing with stock backspacing w/ 1.25 spacers and 265/75s. I'm still undecided to try to make his work or if I'm going to have to chop up the bed.

Or get some 4.5 BS rims and run spacers and youll be fine. Or yeah, chop up the bed and just go LT lol

That is stock backspacing on a 1st gen. TC kit is angled that far forward for tire clearance, and there's still not enough room IMO.

I have 3.5" SCSs and the total chaos kit for just the mounts is about 400. Choppy choppy and a low profile bed cage for the shock mounts. Maybe some 12" kings? Anyone have any pics of something like that.

So outboard mounting though the bed should be enough space? I'm really trying so save some space in the bed for stuff.

I'm digging this without the roof mount to stay under my bed rails

    @Anthony250 - any rubbing issues?

How is this angle for the shocks

doing the TC setup is a compromise fore sure, but not everybody wants to cut up the bed lol. I know thats why i am doing it, i use my bed still and dont want that, would love the full LT but this will work. I am actually going to mod mine to be 1" taller to work with my 1" bodylift to fit a longer shock.

@anthony250f - first of all, sick truck man. Love that color. how does the rear setup perform(shock angle and dampening)? If you could go back and go inboard would you? Is it worth the potential rubbining

Im thinking of making a cage similar to yours and running 2" 14s bypasses with a spring over j59 pack to get me started.

I helped him a little bit, but it cycled cleanly and gave plenty of travel.
He was inboard before this and went outboard to free up more bed space.

Not only that but by the same standards doesn't having the shocks upright and as far out on the axle as possible make valving/tuning easier?
