Oregon and Washington BS thread

I do oil changes in my 6.0l around 5k, but there have been many times that 10k has rolled around than I do it. Don't work dakota, just throw the Delo 15-40 at it and move on lol.

 

Every time you start it cold diesel pushes past the rings and into the oil. Near oil change time, you have diluted the oil quite a bit with diesel. That's why they say it doesn't matter what kind of oil you run in them. I run Rotella-T 15w40 in the Duramax, changed every 10K or once a year (it sits a lot). The important thing is that you change it, it's less important what brand you pour back in, as it's for sure not diluted with diesel.

Wow I had no idea! So that's why diesel oil is so black and smells so distinct. Interesting....

I spent a couple days now in the woods with the new KO2's from BFG. Rolled threw snow, mud, a river and lots of dry dirt. Conclusion, they are holding up just as good if not better in everything. So far best tire I've ever used off road. It's no RS3 on the pavement but fuck it's so quite and amazing.

 

Hey guys, long time away from here. Lots of stuff has been going on but I wanted to get back on here and say what's up. I'm still not driving a Tacoma... but at least I found myself back into a Toyota. Just got it set up with the wheels, rims and lift in the last couple of weeks. I've had the truck since May of 2014

Can anyone grab measurements on a set of rear Wheeler's superbumps for me? Looking for the measurement from the metal base up to top of shoulder.

Yes, big log did not play nice. Green hatter was supposed to sell me his but he had to much stuff going on and he either scrapped them or sold them to someone else. I tabled the issue, but my stereo is going out and I can't ignore it any longer
