    Morning

2 hrs 10 mins of this shift left, then off for my 3 day break.

Backing up my buddy Randy this afternoon when he goes to check their bear bait station. I don't hunt bears myself, because my wife loves bears the way Weesa loves moose ... I'm sure glad that's not the other way around ... anyhoo, the guy he's working the station with can't go today, and friends don't let friends tend a bear snack bar in the woods alone. ;)

    Good Morning ,

More rain forecasted with T storms and heavy rain today hopefully this is the last of it and normal weather returns soon . Yesterday it rained so hard in a short amount of time some of the storm drains were overwhelmed and streets flooded

Going to try and check the exh manifold on my truck to see if I can locate a EGR . Been trying to find a header for my 4 cylinder . Called LCE yesterday and they want pics so they can make sure I get the correct header

OK now! back on line again.....again....Got the new computer 2 days ago. Power supply blew almost instantly. Got that one replaced. It had issues. Took that back, got a little "cranky" with the guy who sold it to me, so they stepped up and gave me a much better model. Just plugged it in. This is the fastest computer I've ever worked with. In-freekin-credible!

So...Provided this one doesn't self destruct, I'm up and running.....happy.....and back at the keyboard when at home!

72 degrees outside now, headed to 80+. Sunny, a beautiful Kentucky Derby Day!

Driving east to see the daughter's house and visit with the grand kids in a bit!

Just paid all my doctor bill up to date. That leave a mark on the ol' checking account!

Damn they must have been the lowest power rated PSs to blow like that. I have built all my own computers, except when the memory prices went through the roof a few years back, the last one was a quad cpu, it has lasted a long time between upgrades.

I would rather talk about guns, hot rods and bears, but this is where my career led me.

They guy who works on 'em where I bought it said the first power supply blew because it overheated due to another issue.
2nd problem was with a USB port.
So, we scrapped that plan and went with a top of the line HP that I am (so far) VERY happy with.

Slight change in plans....My grandson said "bring fishing poles". He found a pond near their new home. He has the owners permission to fish there. And it's supposed to be FULL of big bluegill! Gonna stop and get a couple hundred crickets on the way! My favorite way to fish!

    Ain't much better here.
I tilled last time the sun was out..let's see, last Sat.
I let some of my lettuce from last year go to seed, so I have about 40 lettuce plants sprouting up since I transplanted them last weekend.
Problem with that, they're all ready at once, and I get lettuced out after a while.

Went Turkeying at 4:30 this morn. Cold, crappy weather and the birds don't move in it. Heard a couple far off roost gobbles right before light. That's it. Left at 9:30 during yet another downpour from hell. Next chance I have is next Sat.
Hope the sun comes out by then. Oh wait, back to work Monday,it'll be nice out.

Busy weekend! Attended my daughter's masters hooding ceremony yesterday at USC, and am going to my son's graduation from Clemson tonight. Mighty proud of my big kids! Now we have a 4 year old to get through the process. Retirement may be a little delayed.

She just finished her masters degree. The "hood" is a decoration added to their cap and gown to signify their level. The hood loops around the front of the neck and hangs down the back. The color will depend on the school and field of study. Here's an example.

Thank you! She has a really good heart and chose the field of social work for both her undergrad and masters. Her first job is with a hospice. I just pray that she can endure with that kind of work. It takes special people and I thank God for those that can do it!
