    To be announced
Go look at the old man emu stuff same price better quality it's made by arb. Lots of folks on this forum will recommend it. Go with the 884 coils and a add a leaf system. If you want to spend more you can replace the leaf packs with Dakars which will also come highly recommend. This will be the set up I'm going to run after the wife is off mat leave. I wouldn't recommend that kit your mechanic is looking at. Your other option I would recommend would be the blistien 5100 and again a add a leaf

    Hop this helps

That's a drop bracket lift which takes a lot more work to install, possibly some cutting and welding. Do you intend to go off road or just want a jacked up ride for the looks. A coilover lift and leaf pack would give you more OR ability, easier install/reversible, and cheaper.

Explains the price I'm paying for labor.
I don't do mud, snow, or rock climbing... I do drive off road daily though, mainly rough dirt and gravel roads.

this gives you the lift but uses stock suspension. and for offroading it wont give you more wheel travel. it wont give you a better ride. i guess it would be like walking on stilts, it will make you taller tho lol

Sounds like you already bought it? The front end lift I could live with, but wouldn't want to. The rear consists of blocks which is a cheap way to gain height in the back. It is more prone to axle wrap and generally rides worse than a new leaf pack.

Thanks, I just don't want to feel a huge difference in the ride or want to cause too much damage.

axle wrap id where your axle twists under torque and it happens more with blocks. what i would suggest is an AAL with a small block i got about 2 1/2" in the rear by using an AAL and 1/2" block

Looks like blocks and spacers to me.
And that picture of the jumping Tacoma would have driven me away in a heartbeat.

    Good luck OP

What are your goals OP? I don't wheel and mine is a Mall Krawler but I went with OME 887's on 5100's up front. And rear ICON 2.0 Shocks and a rear ICON 3 leaf 1.5 inch Progressive leaf pack, with Camburg Ball Joint UCA's All in all I got 3 inches up front and 2 inches in the rear.
