Thanks buddy. Are you gonna run the mesh grill with an insert? I'm on the fence about doing the raptor lights mod in the grill

Here you go! Surprisingly easy to swap out! Whole thing took maybe 30-45 minutes!

No insert, just mesh. I also ordered the trd emblem just like yours, I ordered it in black and chrome. I will take a look at both options.

I was the same way. Just do it! It's not permanent and the OEM can be easily removed. You could find one for a decent price.

The OEM cover is great. I went through a touchless carwash today and it was dry on the inside after.

How many beer breaks does that include?! If it took me ten minutes, it's because I was moving slow.

Can you remove bezel without removing grill? Flat black paint? Type? Clear coat? Looks good! Thx!

You can separate the bezel from the grille, but they both need to come out to do so. He probably put the grille back in so he could drive around while the bezel was drying.

You got it! Put the assembly back on minus bezel to drive to the store since I didn't want to be that guy. I scuffed up the chrome with some sandpaper and then sprayed Rustoleum Universal Flat Black (5 or 6 coats), followed by 3 coats of clear from the same product line. I'll install it tomorrow. I'm sure there will be imperfections, but beats $90 for the SR bezel.

I may or may not have been a beer or two deep while doing it haha. Most of the time was used carefully popping the tabs loose. I was trying to be really careful not to break the tabs in case I want to use the stock grille again.
