Just dumped a truckload of parts off at Wolf-Fab and will take more over on Monday when I drop the Tacoma off to him to work on while I'm at Jambo in Texas with the Land Cruiser. The list of projects is pretty exciting.

    Relentless Fab front bumper
    Full set of skid plates
    Exhaust reroute
    Warn Winch
    Shitload of Baja Designs lights
New gears - 4.56 - with ARB air lockers front and back
    ARB air compressor
    Ruff Stuff rear diff armor
    Prinsu cabrack
Rivet nuts for Flippac lid hold down brackets

Some @Baja Designs awesomeness. Oh, and my new Powertank.

Come Friday - after I leave for Jambo - these brand new beauties will arrive for me. A pair for the Tacoma - red stripe = gasoline - and a Pair for the Land Cruiser - yellow stripe = diesel - all shiny and new. So freakin' stoked about getting these. I need to order another pair of wrenches as one is for fuel cans and the other for water. I want to keep one of each in both vehicles.

@ChandlerDOOM, I can't remember which cans you wanted. Was it the all black 20L gas cans?

After allot of thought and discussion, my wife and I have decided to keep our Flippac for now. We love it so much and even though it's a bit more difficult I think we are going to be able to manage. I really dig the new Habitat but with it being so new and such an unknown variable we've decided to wait.

A few other changes. I sold my deposit for the diesel engine swap on the Tacoma. Walking away from the lifetime engine warranty that Toyota gave us would really be stupid on my part. So as a few of you already know, I ended up using that money to buy a diesel Land Cruiser.

    image.jpg

I'm going to leave the Tacoma at Wolf-Fab so he can install the gears and lockers and I'll be heading out very early tomorrow in the Land Cruiser for Jambo in Texas. If you are going to be there flag me down as its allot of fun to put faces with the usernames.

While I was at the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree in the Land Cruiser I blew out the previous owner installed air shocks on the first trail I went down. Had no clue until later that afternoon when I noticed the air manifold hanging down with it's Schrader valve sheared off. Kept on wheeling and while it was definitely stiffer in the back with the shocks now acting like bump stops that little truck did some impressive stuff.

Good deal, have to keep that in mind if I decided to keep the compressor in the engine bay since I need a mount for my Solenoid

You said you bought some parts... didn't know it was this much. Very jealous of the Baja lights you got going on now.

I'm pretty stoked about the lights that Bailey @Baja Designs hooked me up with. I think that once everything from that pile is on and I can get the bumper off and to the powder coater then I can start turning my attention to the Land Cruiser. I just ordered another set of Rock Monsters since the set I stole from the Tacoma will stay on the Land Cruiser. Sticking with the S/T Maxx tires as thy performed awesome on the interstate and on the trail.
