Mine looks like that too. Pretty shitty gluish sticky stuff. Almost looks like supports weren't bent correctly.

Just checked mine and it looked fine, luck of the draw. You should bring it up with your salesman and see what can be done.

Where are you guys getting your alignment done? Most of the shops I've called said they only have specs and equipment for the second gens and can't reset the steering angle sensor after the alignment which can cause issues.

What size offset would you have to run with 285/75/R16 with a 3 inch lift?

Your suspension is almost identical to a 2nd gen. Alignment would be the same for both trucks.

Sorry bud, don't know anything about a new angle sensor. I do know that any alignment shop can adjust your cam bolts and align your truck. I highly doubt all the lifted 16's on Oahu are having their "angle sensor" reset by the alignment shops.

Why don't some of you lifted 3rd gen guys chime in about having your angle sensor reset when you got your alignment?

Yeah most likely not. Firestone didn't want to adjust my alignment because of this. I was kinda frustrated with them because of it but they did say they were gonna call their equipment guy to get their updates so they can service the new tacomas.

This is not anything new. You are talking about recalibrating your VSC. And yeah, alignment shops won't do that. Same system as 2nd gens. Just get your alignment and printout for recon and drive the damn truck. If your VSC doesn't kick in while driving/turning, then your good. Out of all the lifted tacoma's I came across, I don't personally know anyone that had to do it.
