I've been wanting to go to a meet but my work schedule pretty much has me screwed

 

I work a 4 turn swing shift l...I feel ya there.

 

So do I!
I do 7 days of 3rd 2 days off, 7 days of 2nd 1 day off and 7 days of 1st with 4 days off. So I only get 1 weekend a month off.

Is anyone going to the Dropt N Destroyed car show at the Mansfield reformatory on the 28th and 29th of this month? I'm gonna be there one of those days.

 

Ha yep we work identical schedules...I'm on midnights now...next weekend is my 4 day weekend.

 

Its possible ill be there. i live damn close to mansfield. Sounds like a good day to get all of us tacoma owners together so we can get all googly eyed over each other

@Yota_Mafia who are you because Christian Schmikla gave me a card tonight at Superfly in Akron for YotaMafia. Was that you? Not exactly an off road scene but I like to go check that stuff out during the summer nights.

 

Share a little bit of my night. It's not exactly any of your guys scene that I know of but it's a cool time to go hang out, it's not a judged car show but more of just a hang out. We filled up the parking garage tonight, if I had to put a number on the amount of cars and trucks there I would say 500. It's called Superfly and its in Akron every Saturday night until like 2am.

 

I'm pretty sure that's him, I know that's his name and he asked if I was going up there.

 

Colin, yes that's him. I was going to try to go but with a dead alternator, that's not a good risk to take

Is this the same parking garage as the Akron PD?

 

I thought the very bottom level was something to do with that but not 100% sure, it's the Polsky parking deck on University of Akron campus.

It's every SATURDAY night during the summer, I have a season pass which gets in me and 1 other for free if you wanted to go. Other than that it's only $2 a person.

I wasn't sure but I saw the off-road yota mafia 4 runner and I thought well that is odd seeing that here, I got a lot of thumbs up and looks in my truck which I was a little bit surprised about. I used to be real big in the car scene like this but I don't have my MR2 anymore so now I just go to look.

 

@MR2 ahh no kidding it use to be called superfly Sunday...the last time I was up there for that I had my prelude about 7-8yrs ago and everyone met up at the spaghetti warehouse.

 

Isn't the stock TRD OR alternator a high output? Or just not high enough?

 

So my three brothers and I are officially heading to Haspin Acres in Indiana on Father's Day weekend (June 17 - 19). We're heading out Friday a.m. and returning Sunday. Taking the tents. If any of you are interested, we're just planning on getting dirty, hanging out, and drinking beers when driving has concluded for the evening.
